When Mr Dixon metaphorically mentioned the word “mongrel” in an apparent reference to the Minister of Education, never in his wildest imagination did he believe it would have evoke so much outrage from the nation and for so long.
During the same period of time this outrage was pouring (out) and was the subject of at least 4 editorial by the Gleaner , three by the Observer and many, many letters to the editors, commentaries from public commentators, 3 kids were brutally butchered by “mongrels” of the society.
Yesterday we also got word of another man being butchered and his body thrown in a river and the head left on the streets of his community again by another set of “mongrels”.
What I find particularly disturbing is there has been no comment from the Minister of National Security, no comment from the Prime Minister(148 hrs later) and most disturbing is the apathy from the general public on all that has occurred as it relates to loss of lives of JAMAICANS.
Jamaicans have spent more than a week expressing shock and outrage about the comments used by Mr Dixon, but see no need to express equal or greater outrage at the wanton killing of our kids as well as the horrific display of savagery on display by these “mongrels”.
The two situations are very, very instructive to me and confirms my long held belief that our leaders and Jamaicans in General don’t give a F about the sanctity of human lives ie Jamaican lives.
Jamaicans are murdered in two’s and three’s by marauding packs of mongrels as well as agents of the state, but this is not enough to evoke OUTRAGE by the Nation for any SUSTAINED period of time.
We have truly epitomize the art of majoring in minors, which has largely been aided and abetted by the MEDIA !
I continue to weep for Jamaica and is using this forum to say to well thinking Jamaicans who cares about the lives of themselves as well as families and friends:” If you can get out of this hell hole, please do in a hurry, life means nothing in Jamaica”. You are far quicker to get chastised , hauled over the coal and disciplined for making a derogatory remark about a politician, than if you murder a Jamaican.
In fact, if you commit a murder in Jamaica, there is 80% chance you will get away with it and only about 20% of the population will have a “passing” interest in it.
It’s just another day and another set of statistics in the killing fields of Jamaica, who cares, what the F?
Mad as Hell !!
