I heard over the weekend that the Jamaican Prime Minister was once again out the country but I was unable to find anything on the OPM, JIS on any of the media networks in printed format to confirm what I was told.
Today I was finally able to determine where she was and our jet setting Prime Minister had been off to Trinidad and Tobago where she was participating in a meeting with the Chinese President Xi Jinping and other member of Caricom, where she was accompanied by Foreign Affairs Minister, AJ Nicholson.

When asked about the Visit of the Chinese President and that of the USA Vice President, this is what she had to say.
Jamaican Prime Minster Portia Simpson said that visits by Biden and Xi’s visits were “interesting and good,” and told reporters that she hopes that “something happens, something positive, for our region.”
In a separate interview the PM said she was not happy with CAL. ( Seems like PSM only speaks with foreign reporters)
“It is of grave, great, great concern for the Jamaican people, I can say that,” Simpson-Miller said. She said she did not have the opportunity while she was in Trinidad and Tobago yesterday to discuss the matter with Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar because Trinidad and Tobago was hosting the President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, who left for Costa Rica yesterday after a three-day State visit.

Its like that old TV show/ computer game, except this time its “Where in the world is Portia Simpson-Miller” instead of Carmen Sandiego!
I had the same thoughts.
