The Gleaner is today reporting that Investment and Commerce Minister, Anthony Hylton has been sued for US$120,000 or J$12M for a debt owing to Metry Seaga for a house he purchased over 6 yrs ago.
Anyone can run into a financial problem, but to owe an individual for over 6 yrs is not only shameful but smacks and gross dishonesty on the part of the Minister. How can we have a Minister with responsibility for overseeing billions of dollars of FDI into our country, find himself in a major financial bind for the last 6 yrs !
The Minister has been compromised and must resign or be removed from this sensitive post with immediate effect !
This is another embarrassing episode in the life of the PNP administration , but I can bet you my last dollar that our jet setting Prime Minister will play deaf and dumb and allow this one to pass over as another 9 day wonder.
A bankrupt person may not sit in Parliament.
Dead silence , hmmm
Seems like AH and the PNP loss in 2007 was a devastating blow. Mr Seaga don’t worry dem back in power again so you money soon run iyah.
Hahahah
I bet you he will be paid soon.
I would like the Parliamentary Integrity Commission to investigate the financial dealings of Mr Hylton.
Did Mr Hylton repay Mr Seaga as he promised ?
