In a case that can only be described as poetic justice played out in from of the Olympic Gardens police station approx 5pm yesterday afternoon.
In what appeared to have been a “hit”, a gunman was dropped off and calmly walked up to his victim and unloaded a barrage of gunshot into the hapless man, killing him on the spot. Once his mission was completed, he moved away from the scene of the crime looking for the getaway car which was parked some distance away from where the actual crime took place.
The gunman panicked when he was unable to locate the car and the cops who were stationed literally across the street reacted to the gunshots and the scampering people. They came face to face with the bewildered gunman with gun in his hand who unable to find his getaway vehicle.
He was quickly deposed of by the cops, who made easy work of him.

Pity they couldn’t have wounded him and taken him into custody for questioning to find out who was driving the getaway car and who ordered the hit and why…..
I agree with you Jon. I can understand fully the emotions for the removal of this ‘gunman’ from society, but a good investigator will do exactly as you asked above.
Yup. And then they could have removed at least 3 criminals from society instead of just one.
first rule of gun ownership…if you discharge your weapon do so to kill…
