We try to give away free light bulbs, we screw it up.
We attempt to give hurricane relief funds , we screw that up.
We attempt to help the poor by giving them free houses from food for the poor, we screw that up.
A company tries to allow employee to take slightly defective product at extremely low prices, we end up making more “slightly defective” products and end up screwing up that as well.
We screw things up, either by downright dishonesty or by political affiliation .
It does not matter how simple it is, chances are we shall screw it up.
We definitely need some sort of divine intervention.

We are governed by the least competent. Most politicians are actually “bullshit artists” The are lying, deceitful, dishonest individuals. We abhor these traits in a regular Joe but these same disgusting traits are celebrated in politicians? Helluva irony!!
I wouldn’t say we abhor these traits in the average Joe. Those traits are celebrated in politicians, artistes and businesspersons. When a man lies about his background to work at customs, one of the more shocking aspects of that case was the sympathy shown towards the man by some (including some of his former co-workers). Nevermind the fact that he probably kept some honest, hardworking individual with real credentials from actually obtaining the job. Businesses will import cheaper goods and repackage and (officially and unofficially) market them in such a way as to create the perception in the mind of unwitting consumers that the product is Jamaican (even if all it says is “packaged in jamaica”). We abhor them in whoever we personally interact with as long as that personal interaction involves a monetary loss on our part. Otherwise we either turn a blind eye or lionize them.
