After the last debt exchange, most persons would have recognized that banks here in Jamaica will not give up a cent and therefore would have been looking to increase fees to the public.
Scotia Jamaica has already started the process and has published its new fee structure, which has seen some fees going up by 100%!
Scotia Jamaica has indicated that these new fees will come into effect shortly and is yet another jab at the already burdened Jamaica public.
I have attached a copy of the old fees, which were published in Nov 2012 for 2013. Review and compare against the new fees, which will come into effect in June 2013. I will post that as soon as I have received a copy.

New fees come into effect May 1. Not just Scotia but NCB and FCIB as well
Hylton was on CVM earlier and he said his bank fees would not be increased.
Seems I cannot go off the information you provide so I will keep my BNS paying GOJ post until I hear from a credible source.
May may get a lawsuit first
When you make an assertion vs asking a question?
Really now.
Questions are asked to seek confirmationor clarification and since you are not an authority on this subject, we will wait.

And what did you say again when PSM asked ” ….or are you and enemy of the state?”
Shallow argument ( to coin your phrase). Her statement was in response to strident criticism of her incompetence and was therefore a comment vs an actual question, for which she would have been waiting on a response.
Get … it ? 🙂
But come to think about it, you know you “wrenk” when have I provided information here that was inaccurate? Me and Yuh not in the same boat youthman!!!
The Mgr Dir was on record today saying his bank fees are not going up. Unless of course you know more than Hylton does.
You asserted the the info re local tissue manufacturer was not true, I guess you may want to go back and read that one too.
Oh I get it, the same media you accuse of being lazy was not privy to that info, so the blog was wrong.
Poor you Jay, If mi never get the information fi myself about the tissue, of course I am going to question whether or not it is true. You think you above doubt after you post so many bogus information sometimes?
Multilink has increased its fees, so you will find out when you use the POS system. Hyton also said that he does not want the customers to say it is because of the NDX why they are going up. GET THAT!!!
Who controls the multilink network in Jamaica, is that NCB ?
Acar, nu badda answer here is the answer.
Consumers are to face higher prices for point of sale and ATM transactions starting next week as the operator of the multi link system, has hiked the price of each transaction to banks.
