“Cabinet notes that the issues are not directly related to the duties of Mr Richard Azan, in his capacity as minister of state in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing. Pending receipt of the report from the OCG, he will continue in the position,” noted the release issued by the Office of the Prime Minister (OPM)
So my interpretation of the above is as follows:
- Richard Azan screwed up as Member of Parliament.
- Richard Azan did not screw up and Minister of State in the Ministry of TW&H.
- Richard Azan has two “skins”, he can jump out of one skin into another skin as the situation suits him or the party.
KD Knight had said to Bruce ” You cannot just jump out of one skin into another when it suits you” in reference to Bruce role in the Dudus saga as Prime Minister and Leader of the JLP.
We have now come full circle !
Nothing ever changes in Jamaica , I am really amused and had to chuckle when a read the release from the OPM.
Questions of the day
- Can Richard Azan resign as Member of Parliament ?
- If the answer is yes, does that not automatically force his resignation as Minister of State in the Ministry of Transport, Works and Housing ?
There are many ways to “skin” a cat, right?
Civil society can therefore ask him to resign as Member of Parliament since that was the “skin” he was in when he made what persons are calling a poor and corrupt decision.
Like I said Jay will continue to keep them on their toes with probing commentary, which is not only annoying but potentially embarassing to many.
🙂 🙂 🙂

Azan threatens to sue members of the media and other who he accuses of trying to sully his character, lol lol. DWL
The OCG is taking really long on this one, while Richie ” ole d faith man a comrade all a we, this a nine day wonder Richie, mi a tell u dis a 9 day wonder, we a comrade fi life, nuh watch nuh face”.
True Jamaica.
I often wonder why this country is not progressing but I need not look beyond who is in charge and who are the followers.
