$5.00 to be added to each liter of fuel over the next three weeks .

Today in what can be considered window dressing and slick PR work, Petrojam reduced fuel by $2.00 per liter. This I believe is in preparation for the $3.00 additional tax which will be added to the price of petrol come next week.

So the net effect of this move will be a additional $1.00 per liter on petrol, which does not appear to be to hard a pill to swallow, however “commonsenseja” expects that this $2.00 will be added to the price of petrol over the next week.  The fact is. if Petrojam was to have increasde the price of petrol this week and then another $3.00 were to be added next week, there would be massive public outcry, but most Jamaicans would accept a steady rise in the price over a few weeks as , without even “noticing” it.

Slick move Petrojam, very slick move indeed.
