What’s working in Jamaica?

We sometimes expend so much time thinking, speaking and writing about all the things that are wrong in this country, that sometimes we miss those moments when things are actually working well for us.

This post is therefore meant to capture all those things that are working for Jamaica and by this I mean the good stuff.

Lay it on folks, I am sure we have a lot of things to highlight.

  3. Jay, I think I have two for you:

    1. No murders today.

    2. Former Cash Plus Liquidator Hugh Wildman has now been retained by former Cash Plus boss Carlos Hill to represent him in the liquidation process of his companies.

Wildman, the former Trustee in Bankruptcy made the announcement today in the Home Circuit Court when he applied for Hill’s trial to be adjourned.

He told the court that his instructions were that there had been some developments from an ongoing process which should result in the depositors of the failed scheme being in an advantageous position in relation to benefits.

  4. After a week, its troubling that not much information was forth coming on the good stuff that is happening i;n Jamaica, or is it that bad that there is really nothing good to write about 😦

Test , Mich, Truth, Acar, Msupdate, I expected tens of items from each of you, but sadly , nothing. 😦

  5. Jay, we have some talented guys in our country but they lack the requisite guidance and i think, appropriate socialization to do exceptionally well. I was sourcing some packaging machinery recently and came upon a locally made product. I signed an agreement with them and ordered a machine. I had to resort to using law enforcement to get the equipment which was promised in two weeks. Even in my anger, i have tried guiding them but it seems to be a tall order as they do not seem to recognize the value of the skill they have.
