Additional tax of $3.50 per litre of petrol, but how will it be applied ?

The Finance Minister  indicated in Parliament today, that as a result of the recently introduced tax package, an additional $3.50 per litre will be added to automotive diesel oil ( ADO) as well as 87 and 90 gasoline. What was missing however, is how this new rate will be applied and what will be the final impact to the average consumer.

Is it that we will be asked to pay an additional $3.50 more per litre , a fraction of that figure or nothing at all  ?

    With the additional $1.97 which will be added tomorrow 2/21 to every litre of fuel, Jamaicans are going to literally catch “hell” very soon
