We now have agreement on a US$750m extended fund agreement for 48mths.
This will open room for Jamaica to get much needed funds and finally stablize the runaway dollar and the NIR.

  1. You make it sound like that’s a good thing. Remember, we have to meet quarterly expectations before they let us get any money. And they won’t give it to us all at once. Never mind that its only been staff approved, not council approved. There is till one more step to go.

But that doesn’t change the fact that taxes are still too high, and the taxes dividends mean that other CARICOM countries can buy by up our assets cheaper than we can.

Oh, and who knew that the NHT had so much money?

    • This is the deal that we have been waiting on. Now I await the economic plan to get us from poverty to prosperity.
