In a stunning revelation today Director of Jamaica 50 said ” I was blindsided ” (ambushed) as it relates to the song for the Jamaica 50 celebrations. Mr Bryan indicated that he was not aware of the launch of this song and actually only knew about the song when he was invited to the launch and was not involved in the planning program of this launch. Now this coming from the man who was supposed to be the person charge of every facet of the Jamaica 50 celebration is very worrying.
Mr Bryan who is currently in the UK has indicated that he must agree that things got out of control and things have occurred under his watch for which he was not aware and ought to have been aware.
Another case of the head having no idea as to what is going on, which leaves me worried that things are completely out of control and its not clear who is in charge.
Mr Bryan clearly indicated that at this stage he is prepared to resign, given all the mistakes that have been made thus far and the complete disorganization that currently appears to be the hallmark of this planning process for Jamaica 50.
He said we are very late in this planning process and is concerned about the type of celebration that we are likely to have.
Where is Lisa Hanna in all of this and should she be asked to move aside at this point in time.
As I listened to Robert Bryan you could sense the frustration and hear it in his voice as he simply does believe he has been given enough time to plan a proper event and with just a few weeks to go, there reigns mass confusion.

I am not surprised that this poor gentleman had no awareness regarding this entire thing. Resign Sir and leave threm to be who they are; disorganized and damn dishonest
I saw a clip on the Gleaner’s site where Shaggy was saying he was approached by Mr Bryan about the song for Jamaica 50 celebration which would also embodies the whole aspect of our athletes at the Olympics. How can Mr Bryan now say he was unaware? Somebody apart from Lisa Hannah is lying.
