Jamaican PM calls for compensation from UK ahead of Prince Harry’s visit

Jamaica’s prime minister has hinted that Britain might want to pay her country compensation for the “wicked and brutal” years of slavery in the days of Empire as she prepares to host Prince Harry on the latest leg of his Caribbean tour.

21 Killed by cops in 6 days, are the cops out of control ?

I have noted with concern, the increase number of persons being killed by the cops in alleged “shootout”. The latest incident occurred in downtown Kingston yesterday, where 6 persons were shot and killed including a 13 year old girl and a old man. Some of these killings may be justified, however I have  been receiving some uncorroborated and disturning information on a number of these police operations, inculding the one  last Friday and the one yesterday in Kingston.

I note Indecom has taken an interest in the massive increase in police killing as well as Jamaica for Justice. I have even noted that the Minister On National Security, Peter Bunting has himself expressed some concern about what is currently taking place.
